St Mary’s joined the Midsomer Norton Schools Partnership in 2020 and there has been a significant amount of support, change and investment into the school. The school is in a ‘good’ place and on an upward trajectory, as noted by SIAMS in their recent (2021) inspection. There is a new leadership team and structure in place and there is a hard-working, dedicated and talented staff team committed to making St Mary’s the best school it can be. 

Children are at the centre of every aspect of our work as we strive to provide a happy and secure environment in which all children, at every stage of their development, can achieve the best of which they are capable. We are a fully inclusive school which is committed to providing a relevant and high quality education for all children living in the area. The school’s ethos and culture (founded on Christian values) serve to celebrate difference and diversity and create a climate in which everyone knows themselves to be valued for their distinct and individual skills, attributes and resources. 

We believe that close partnership between teachers, parents and governors is essential if your child is to thrive and achieve. We work with parents and carers to ensure every child makes good academic progress and develops key life skills.
