Admissions

Choosing a school for your child is one of the most important decisions you will make.

We therefore recommend that you make a visit where we can show you the wide range of excellent facilities on offer at St. Mary's for your child and the care we have for your child. Prospective parents can make an appointment to visit by contacting the school office. Each year we hold a general meeting for all parents and carers whose child is entering the school in the Nursery and Reception classes.

Applications

Children join our Reception Class in the September at the start of the academic year in which they become five years old.  For these starters, the admissions process is managed by Bath & North East Somerset Council (www.bathnes.gov.uk)

If you moving to the area and would like your child to join the appropriate year group, then an In-Year Transfer application may be made direct to the school.

For all potential parents and pupils, we would encourage you to visit our school in advance of an application.
